Fires can occur when least expected—and knowing how to respond swiftly and effectively can save lives. On 23 April 2025, EITA staff participated in the Basic Occupational Fire Fighting Training, aimed at enhancing workplace safety and emergency readiness.

The session began with an informative briefing on fire science, common workplace fire hazards, and the correct use of extinguishers for different fire classes. Participants then moved into hands-on practice, extinguishing live fires using CO₂ and dry powder extinguishers under expert supervision.

But this was more than just a technical exercise. The training emphasized the importance of teamwork, situational awareness, and maintaining composure under pressure—critical skills that extend beyond emergencies.

We’re proud of our team’s proactive attitude and full engagement throughout the session. Their commitment reflects EITA’s ongoing dedication to cultivating a safe and prepared working environment for all.
A sincere thank you to the trainers and organizers for delivering such an empowering and educational experience. Together, we continue to build a workplace that is alert, equipped, and always ready.
