EITA Earth Day Celebration 2025: From Loved to ReLoved

Fashioned with purpose. Fueled by sustainability.

On 21 April 2025, EITA Group proudly launched its Earth Day initiative, “From Loved to ReLoved”—a creative and impactful sustainability campaign that brought our people together in a united effort to reduce waste, support the community, and promote conscious consumption. Driven by a spirit of innovation and compassion, the event gathered colleagues, community partners, and sustainability advocates for a day filled with meaningful learning and purposeful action.

The event kicked off with a heartfelt reminder: our planet is not just our home—it is our shared responsibility. As the climate conversation grows more urgent, EITA remains steadfast in our belief that sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a long-term commitment to our people, our planet, and future generations.

In partnership with Persatuan Seni Jahitan Kreatif Malaysia (PSJKM), our Earth Day celebration featured an engaging sharing session by Ms. Teow and her passionate team, who sparked creativity and reflection on how to redesign, repurpose, and refashion preloved clothing. Participants not only listened but rolled up their sleeves—sewing, styling, and transforming preloved garments into something new, useful, and full of heart.

This event was more than just a creative activity—it was a meaningful reminder that small, intentional actions, like transforming an old T-shirt, can make a lasting difference.
The “From Loved to ReLoved” initiative is closely aligned with EITA’s Sustainability Compass, guiding our Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) agenda across four core pillars:

• Nature (Environmental Responsibility): We’re reducing textile waste, conserving energy and water, and lowering our carbon footprint—one repurposed item at a time. This is circular living in action.
• Economic (Sustainable Value Creation): By curbing demand for fast fashion, we champion longer product life cycles and smarter consumption—aligning profitability with purpose.
• Society (Community & Social Impact): Collected clothing will be donated or repurposed to benefit underserved communities, bringing warmth, dignity, and support where it’s needed most.
• Workplace (People & Culture): Our people are the heart of our sustainability journey. We encouraged every team member to get involved—donate, volunteer, and share the message of conscious living.

Together, these directions form a 360-degree approach to sustainable business that drives value for the planet, people, and performance.

With hearts and clothes refashioned, we’re reminded that sustainability can be stylish, meaningful, and fun. Events like these show that collective action—no matter how small—can help shape a greener, kinder world.
A special thank you to the Sports Club Committee and event organizers for their passion and effort, and to PSJKM for empowering us with knowledge and creativity.
Let’s continue to lead by example. Let’s turn preloved into reloved—and protect our planet, one stitch at a time.
Happy Earth Day from all of us at EITA.
