Entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Schneider Steuerungstechnik GmbH through EITA-Schneider.
Incorporation of Schneider Systems to market and distribute Elevator parts.

EITA acquire Furutec Electrical, a manufacturer of Busduct Systems.
Furutec Electrical started to carry out R&D activities to improve existing and develop new Busduct system designs.

EITA Elevator and EITA-Schneider (Mfg) 's quality management system certification were updated to ISO 9001:2008 standard.
EITA-Schneider (Mfg) elevator system designs received EC type-examination Certificates from TUV SUD Industrie Service GmbH.
Furutec Electrical Busduct systems received ASTA Type Test Certification to IEC 60439-2 standards.
EITA set up representative office in Vietnam.
2010
EITA Elevator registered with the DOSH for installation, maintenance and inspection of electric goods and passenger lifts ( motor room-less Elevator systems design).
Furutec Electrical received ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification for Busduct System.
Furutec Electrical entered into a MOU with USM to jointly develop new Busduct systems for 5 years.
Furutec Electrical completed new Busduct R&D centre and expansion of production facilities.
EITA Technologies Malaysia received its ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification in Manufacture of Ballasts and Ignitors for lighting.
EITA Elevator received OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System from BM TRADA Certification Ltd.

EITA-Schneider (Mfg) for its Elevator systems designs received additional EC type-examination Certificates from TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH for Dumbwaiter, Escalator and Travellator.
EITA-Schneider (Mfg) acquired land at Bukit Raja, Klang for expansion purposes.

EITA Group of Companies celebrates its 20th Anniversary.
EITA Resources acquired 60% of TransSystem Continental (TSC), entering a new business segment in high-voltage power distribution. TSC is a specialist in managing turnkey installation of sub-stations up to 500KV.
Furutec Electrical received the Green Penang Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution to positive environment change by manufacturing green products under SIRIM Eco-Label scheme.
