On 19 December 2024, EITA Sports Club hosted its annual blood donation campaign in collaboration with Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang. The event witnessed a strong turnout with 67 participants, resulting in an impressive 44 successful blood donations.
Through thorough planning and a robust communication strategy—including posters, emails, and banners—the club effectively encouraged participation among staff members. Invitations were also extended to neighbouring companies and suppliers, promoting a sense of community and collective effort.
This blood donation drive underscored the vital importance of addressing the global blood shortage. Blood, an invaluable and irreplaceable resource, plays a critical role in saving lives, and maintaining a steady supply is essential to meet ever-growing demands. Furthermore, blood donation offers donors significant health benefits, including a reduced risk of heart disease and improved well-being.

The dedication of our staff members was truly inspiring, as they made time to contribute despite busy schedules. Special recognition goes to first-time donors who overcame their hesitations to participate, even if they had been previously ineligible.

As a token of appreciation, each successful donor received an AEON Gift Voucher and refreshments, highlighting our gratitude for their selfless contributions.
