SMALL ACTIONS, BIG IMPACT: EITA’S COMMITMENT TO A CLEANER ENVIRONMENT

On 6 February 2026, EITA Resources Berhad organised a Mega Gotong Royong at its Bukit Raja headquarters, bringing together employees across the Group in a collective effort to promote cleanliness, teamwork, and environmental responsibility.

The day began with all staff gathering at the lobby at 9:00am, where the session kicked off with a short aerobic warm-up to energise participants and set a positive tone for the activity.

Following this, the staff were briefed and employees dispersed throughout the premises to identify areas in need of attention — from common spaces to individual workstations — working together to clean, organise, and refresh the workplace environment.

The initiative reflects the spirit of gotong royong, a long-standing cultural value that emphasises mutual assistance and shared responsibility within a community. More than just a cleaning activity, it embodies the idea that everyone plays a role in contributing to the well-being of the collective. By sharing the workload, employees not only enhanced the physical workspace but also strengthened camaraderie and unity across departments.

Beyond the immediate benefits of a cleaner and more organised office, the event also served as a reminder of the broader responsibility we all share in caring for our environment. Small, collective actions such as these contribute meaningfully towards building a more sustainable and mindful workplace culture.

EITA extends its appreciation to all staff for their enthusiastic participation and commitment. Let us continue to uphold the spirit of gotong royong — not just during organised events, but in our daily actions — as we work together towards a cleaner workplace and a healthier planet.
