Substation Extension & Reinforcement of Supply at Mambong 275/132/33kV Substation

The 5 Year Transmission Masterplan identified that the Kuching 132kV system will face bottlenecks due to rising load demand with the Mambong Substation being one of the key substations of concern. In 2021, the substation was operating at nearly 50% of its capacity and is projected to fail the N-1 supply reliability criteria by year 2023-2024. Therefore, reinforcement of this substation is essential to support the growing demand and ensure system reliability.

Kemena 275kV Extension and Kemena 132kV Substation Project

The Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy ("SCORE") is aimed at developing the natural resources of Sarawak to provide the industrial base required for the economic development of the state and the creation of employment opportunities for its people. The SCORE is being developed by the Employer on behalf of the Government of Sarawak and includes the development and installation of Kemena 275kV Extension and Kemena 132kV Substation project.

  • Protection relay and control panels for EHV transmission and distribution substations

  • Marshalling kiosks, metering panels, and related equipment to support primary substation operations

  • Mosaic control panels and generator protection panels for power stations

  • Microprocessor-based Substation Control System (SCS) and Substation Interrogation and Monitoring System (SIMS)
